9th Annual Inland Empire Economic Forecast Conference Coming October 11

September 21, 2018

The 2018 Inland Empire Economic Forecast Conference is almost here! Ten years after the economic recession, the Inland Empire is filled with opportunities for growth and development. Renowned speakers will be present on the economic outlook and impacts for the region.

Hosted by the UCR School of Business Center for Economic Forecasting and Development, this is one of the most anticipated economic forecast events for business leaders in the region. Among the presenters will be Ian Britton, Managing Director at CBRE, nationally renowned economist Dr. Christopher Thornberg, and Dr. Robert Kleinhenz who will offer forecasts for the global, U.S., California, and Inland Southern California economies.

About the Conference

It's been a decade since the U.S. fell into the worst economic downturn of the modern age.

  • Is the Inland Empire economy different today than when the Great Recession hit?   Are we better prepared to face the next downturn?
  • Are the same conditions that led to the recession beginning to form again? What should we watch for?
  • What are the greatest threats to today’s prosperity?
  • What are the best opportunities and how can you take advantage of them?

Join some of the nation’s most renowned economists as they deliver new outlooks for the local, state, and national economy. We’ll take a look back at lessons learned from the recession, and discuss how to capitalize on today's relative prosperity in order to make the Inland Empire’s future the best it can be.
