Learning Outside the Classroom

The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management’s Career Development Center helps students with internships or, following graduation, a full-time job. We do this by connecting students with employers across the nation. The Career Development Center is also here to help students during their enrollment by giving them the tools necessary to succeed as business leaders including providing company information sessions, connections to industry leaders, and providing individualized career advice.

To contact the AGSM Graduate Career Development Center, please e-mail or call (951) 827-3618.

Executive Mentor Network (EMN)

The Executive Mentor Network (EMN) has been designed to engage graduate students with business professionals -- who are either Junior, Mid-Level, or Senior Executives -- who work in the private, public, or non-profit sectors. The Mentor & Mentee partnership will enable first-year and second-year graduate business students to obtain coaching and guidance from their designated Mentor, as they explore career opportunities during their academic studies at AGSM.

Become a Mentor:  Any working professional, manager, or executive affiliated with UCR or the School of Business is eligible to become a mentor, including alumni, board members, community business leaders or executive fellows who possesses a bachelor’s degree or higher. Serve in a volunteer capacity as a Mentor to one or two graduate business students from November to June.

Please apply today to become a Mentor.
