David W. Stewart, Dean of the Anderson Graduate School of Management, has been named a member of a six person panel of marketing academics and practitioners to evaluate the marketing plans for the 2010 Decennial Census. The Census Bureau has designed an integrated marketing campaign to encourage participation in the Census and has asked the panel to evaluate the total effort as well as its many components. The panel will meet with the Bureau's advertising and marketing agencies and review the written marketing plans. Stewart has previously served as a member and chairperson of the Census Bureau Joint Committee of Professional Associations, which offered advice regarding the 1997 Economic Census and the 2000 Decennial Cenus. |
