"Wide-faced Men Make Others Act Selfishly" (UCR Today)

(9/16/13) In a paper recently published in PLOS ONE, Assistant Professors Michael Haselhuhn and Elaine Wong show that individuals behave more selfishly when interacting with men with wider faces, and that this selfish behavior elicits selfish behavior in others. This and their other previous research show the importance of appearance when selecting a CEO, especially as CEOs increasingly become the face of organizations. Read More…
