Bay Area business school alumni reconnect and show school spirit at get-together centered around the UCR vs. Stanford men's basketball game.
(December 14, 2010)
UCR school spirit is still alive in the Bay Area, when this past Sunday UCR alumni donning UCR sweatshirts and jackets met in Palo Alto for a get-together prior to the UCR vs. Stanford men's basketball game. In coordination with the UCR Alumni Association, the pre-game reception held at Scottys Seafood Bar & Grill, drew 65 UCR alumni.
Among those in attendance were Chancellor Tim White and SoBA Dean David W. Stewart. White addressed the attendants with a progress report on the campus as a whole, while Stewart spoke about the business school's current progress.
The next alumni event is Homecoming, which is set for February 26th on the UCR campus. Bay Area alumni have another chance to reconnect on March 24th for a student recruitment event in San Francisco.
