MBA Class of '15 Employment Success

88% of the MBA Class of '15 were employed within 3 months of graduation and earning 13% more than the previous year.

The employment results for the MBA graduating Class of 2015 are impressive. More than 88% of job seekers secured full-time employment within three months of graduation.

In addition, MBA alumni are now earning more than ever, with an average starting salary of $71,382, which is an increase of 13 percent or more than $8,000 compared to the previous year. While many graduates are working nationally and internationally, the majority of new graduates (74%) have found job placements in California.

“We prepare students to be competitive in the job market, working daily with them, addressing their specific needs, as well as listening to the needs of hiring managers in the industry,” says John Mattson, director of the Graduate Career Development Center at The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. “In today’s very competitive job market graduate students, especially those with limited work experience, must develop an array of skills that will help them to stand out in a crowd. And listening to the industry has given us a good indication of how we can best prepare our students for successful careers beyond graduate school.”
