The School of Business's Undergraduate Business Program is ranked among the best in the nation.

U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best Colleges Guide, released on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2016, includes the School of Business’s undergraduate business program in their list of “Best Business Programs,” placing in a tie for 80th. The survey that was conducted surveyed deans and senior faculty at business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

“Being consistently ranked as a top undergraduate business program points to our success in fulfilling our vision to maintain high-quality educational programs that serve the region and state’s top students. We have made business education accessible to all who qualify, and maintained the largest and most diverse undergraduate business program in the UC system,” said Yunzeng Wang, Dean of the School of Business at UCR.

The University of California, Riverside has been ranked as 121st overall among national universities in U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best Colleges Guide.

Additionally, UCR was once again listed among the most ethnically diverse universities in the nation. UCR tied for 7th with a .69 on the diversity index, where 1.0 is the highest-possible score. The survey rates how “likely it is for students to run into students from a different ethnic group.”

The annual rankings by U.S. News and World Report, first issued in 1983, combine reputation-based rankings with the hard-data outcomes related to graduation rates, tuition costs and level of donor support.
