Walter A. Henry Memorial Scholarship Fund

About the Scholarship
The Walter A. Henry Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to provide assistance to students in the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management and to honor the memory of Walter A. Henry, 1935-2001, a cherished professor at AGSM.
Dr. Henry joined the faculty in 1972, after receiving his Masters and Ph.D. in Business Administration and Marketing from Claremont Graduate School. He served as associate dean for five years, and then interim dean for two years. After his retirement in 1994, he continued teaching. A dedicated teacher, Dr. Henry was honored several times as AGSM's Outstanding Teacher of the Year. His legacy is felt in many aspects of AGSM and UCR and continues to live on in this scholarship.
His colleagues wrote: "Much of what is good and successful in AGSM today is due to Walt Henry's unceasing devotion to the school and its students."
