
How to Apply
All students must apply electronically. However, please read the following instructions and the "application requirements" section first. When you choose to apply, you will leave the MBA web site and you will be automatically linked to our UC Riverside Graduate Division application web site.
In addition to the application forms required when filing an electronic application, you must also download and complete our "MBA Questionnaire/Teaching Assistantship Request" form and mail it along with all other application requirements (application fee (US)$85.00 for international students or (US)$70.00 for domestic students, letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc.) to the following address:

Application Requirements
All applicants (domestic and international) must submit the following items:
- UCR graduate application form (electronic).
- A (US)$70.00 (for domestic students) or (US)$85.00 (for international students) non-refundable MBA application Fee (by check or money order payable to "UC Regents").
- Personal Resume including your work experience history (please note that although work experience is encouraged, it is not required for MBA admission consideration).
- MBA Questionnaire/Teaching Assistantship form (pdf 64K).
- Two copies of the Applicant Statement of Purpose (they must be signed or they will not be accepted).
- Three letters of recommendation (all individual letters must be submitted on official company or university letterhead).
- Two sets of official transcripts for all college or university courses attended beyond high school (transcripts must be in the official sealed envelope issued from the University).
- Official GMAT score report (only the GMAT exam score is accepted for MBA admission consideration). When requesting that ETS send a copy of your official GMAT score to the University of California-Riverside, please use institution code: 346-VD-62.

- Please note that International MBA applicants must provide financial verification in the amount of US $51,534.50 (this amount includes an additional professional fee of US $16,345 for the MBA Program only).
- International Applicants for the MBA program must submit the following financial form: International Student Confidential Financial Statement with their MBA application materials.
Application Deadlines
FALL 2009 ADMISSIONS:
Domestic:
- Applications may be accepted past the due dates as space permits, or they may be considered for admission for the next quarter.
- Apply early. The class may become filled over time, as students are notified of their admission on a continuous basis throughout each deadline period.
- Fellowships are offered to highly qualified candidates until all available funds are allocated. Early admission gives you a better chance at receiving a fellowship over a later applicant.
Additional Information
- International applicants whose first language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). This exam is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and offered in nearly every country abroad. This exam must be taken within two years of the time you intend to enroll at UCR. 550 is the minimum acceptable score for the written TOEFL exam; 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam; and 80 for iBT exam.

- Permanent residents (non-US citizens) whose first language is not English and do not have an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited institution where English is the exclusive language of instruction, must submit a recent score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum 550 score on the paper-based exam is required (minimum 213 for computer-based exam or minimum 80 for iBT exam).
- TOEFL exam score. To request that your scores be sent to the University of California-Riverside, use institution code 4839 and department code 02.
