BIO:
Professor Andrea Godfrey is Assistant Professor of Marketing at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, University of California, Riverside, where she joined the faculty in 2007. Professor Godfrey’s research interests involve applying empirical models of consumer purchasing behavior to guide customer management strategies in retailing and service settings. One current set of projects focuses on using empirical methods to help retailers better align their product or service offerings with their target customers. A second set of projects focuses on understanding the impact of firms’ relationship marketing activities and service performance on customers’ purchasing behavior and customer value. Her research has been published in the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Her teaching interests include marketing research, marketing strategy, and retail / services management.
Professor Godfrey received her Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to receiving her B.Engineering from McGill University and M.B.A. from Babson College, she worked for several years in the consulting engineering industry and has collaborated on customer relationship marketing projects with a variety of service providers.
