Associate Dean for the Undergraduate Business Program, Professor of Operations Management and Management Science

BIO:

Professor Bajis Dodin is the Associate Dean for the Undergraduate Business Program and Professor of Operations Management and Management Science at AGSM. He joined UCR's Graduate School of Management in July of 1984 as an assistant professor and has been a member of the faculty of AGSM ever since. His teaching and research focus on operations management (OM) and project management (PM). He uses operations research (OR) methods in solving practical as well as theoretical problems in the areas of scheduling and PM and their applications. His publications have appeared in leading journals in the fields of OR and OM, including: Operations Research, Management Science, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, and Accounting Review, among others. His tenure at UCR includes a number of administrative and faculty governance assignments, including: chairman of the Business Administration Program for 11 years, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (1996-2000), Associate Dean for the Undergraduate Business Program (2000-2003), and chairman of the AGSM faculty. His most recent administrative assignment was as Director of the UC Education Abroad Program Center in Cairo for the years 2003-2006.
