Executive MBA
Begin the application process by completing the UC Riverside Graduate Division standard online application found at: http://www.graduate.ucr.edu/Admtoc.html
NOTE: On the initial page of the Graduate Division online application you will be prompted to select the program of interest. Select "Management" from the drop down menu. "Management" represents all of The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management graduate programs and should be selected for either the traditional MBA or the Executive MBA programs.
Once you reach the online application "form", select the Executive MBA (EMBA) program and complete as requested. Completed applications will be sent to the Executive MBA office through the Graduate Division; and you will be notified to submit the Graduate Applicant Disclaimer Statement and a nonrefundable application fee of $70. You will also be notified to finalize your application package with the required documents (please refer to the "Admissions Requirements").
Successful candidates demonstrate:
- Professional achievement - including leadership ability and experience
- Academic preparation - bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) - which may be waived under some circumstances. For information on the GMAT, please visit their website: http://www.mba.com/mba/thegmat
- Professional endorsement - three letters of recommendation, preferably referral from current or recent managers
- Personal attributes - conveyed through Statement of Purpose
- Interview with the EMBA Director

Admission into the UC Riverside A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management EMBA is highly selective. The Admissions Committee will assess each candidate on a scope of measures which includes professional, academic, and personal accomplishments. In addition, the successful candidate will display exceptional leadership potential with the intellectual and interpersonal abilities to contribute to the academic and extracurricular agenda.

Application Fee A nonrefundable application fee of $70 must accompany the Graduate Applicant Disclaimer Statement. Please complete the Disclaimer Statement, sign and send to the EMBA Graduate Advisor along with your check or money order (see address below)
Graduate Applicant Disclaimer Statement (Disclaimer Statement) All Applicants must complete and submit the Graduate Applicant Disclaimer Statement. This form certifies that all information provided on your application is true and correct to the best of your knowledge and must be sent to the EMBA Graduate Advisor accompanied with your application fee of $70. Supplementary Documents
Professional Endorsements Candidates must submit three (3) letters of recommendation from current or recent supervisors who will not only substantiate the candidate's management abilities, but also support this new direction in obtaining an MBA while assuming increased responsibilities. Statement of Purpose & Personal History Successful candidates will present an essay that reflects statement of purpose with respect to the Executive MBA program. Successful candidates present a history of achievement and leadership abilities; minimum of 7-10 years of work experience is recommended. Official Transcripts Two (2) copies of official transcripts from each college and/or university attended since high school. Transcripts must be received in their original sealed enveloped. If the transcript is not in English, you must include an English translation
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) The GMAT is required for admission; however, may be waived if an MA, MS or doctoral degree has been earned and verified with official transcripts. All waivers are subject to approval. Candidates must arrange testing with the Graduate Management Admission Council at: http://www.mba.com/mba/thegmat
Applicants who have obtained an undergraduate degree in a foreign country are required to provide TOEFL scores. For information on the Graduate Division's TOEFL requirements please visit http://www.graduate.ucr.edu/Admiss/EngReq.html.
A number of financial aid opportunities are available, including government and private loans. Financial aid is not based on need.

Stafford Loan

If you are a first time Stafford Loan borrower, you must also submit a Master Promissory Note online at http://www.dlenote.ed.gov as soon as possible
- Next you will need to complete a procedure call Pre-Loan Counseling. Go to http://www.sbs.ucr.edu and click on the Loan/Debit Counseling
- Repayment begins six months after graduation
- The Subsidized Stafford Loan is based on financial need
- The Unsubsidized Stafford Loan is non-need based
Graduate PLUS Loan
If you are a first time Graduate PLUS Loan borrower, you must also submit an electronic Graduate PLUS Promissory Note online at http://www.dlenote.ed.gov as soon as possible.
Next you will need to complete a procedure called Pre-Loan Counseling. Grad PLUS Loan entrance counseling is completed on the internet at https://www.dl.ed.gov/borrower/CounselingSessions.do?cmd=initializeContext.
