Visiting Scholar Program in Finance

The School of Business Administration/Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside is distinguished by a vibrant Visiting Scholar Program. This non-teaching Program is open to  researchers from around the world who wish to participate in the School’s research and teaching programs, and are attracted by the  collegial research environment existing among UCR faculty. The Program in Finance is designed for research-oriented scholars in finance of all ranks, but shows preference for  eminent scholars.

The Finance Faculty at UCR hosts a small number of Visiting Scholars, receiving many more applications than there are places available. Successful applicants generally will have established research records and be engaged in research that is of interest to members of the UCR Finance Faculty.

An appointment as a Visiting Scholar is made by the voting faculty and is not automatic. Visiting Scholars in Finance may continue in their appointment for up to one year, and may apply to extend the period for a maximum of one additional year.

Each admitted Scholar must have a member of the UCR Finance Faculty who is willing to act as academic host for the visit.

All prospective visiting scholars and researchers who fall within one of the above categories are requested to supply all of the following items for consideration:
