
OVERVIEW
The Undergraduate Program in Business Administration is designed to:
- educate students in the art and science of management
- prepare graduates as tomorrow’s business leaders by equipping them with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems

THE CURRICULUM:
- is built on integrated management fundamentals with a strong foundation of course work in the humanities and social sciences
- The program by design is interdisciplinary; students benefit from the expertise of faculty in the departments of economics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, political science, statistics, as well as those in the school of management.
CORE COURSES:
- Core courses in marketing, management science, production and operations management, corporate finance and investment, cost and management accounting, and organizational behavior introduce the student to the functional areas of business.
- Students choose a five-course concentration from 12 areas: accounting, arts management, entrepreneurship, environmental management, financial economics, general management, human resources management, information systems, international management, managerial economics, marketing, operations & supply chain management, or public policy & management.
- There are three additional required upper division business elective courses that can be used to expand the areas above or explore other business fields.
INTERNSHIPS:
- Students have the opportunity to enrich their education by participating in at least one internship during their junior or senior year.
- An internship course can be counted as one business elective and is taught every quarter and in summer sessions.

3rd Week: IGETC Certification and all required syllabi in your ADMIT quarter
5th Week: Enrollment appointments available on GROWL. BSPR students and also BSAD students on academic probation must see their alpha adviser 2-3 days before enrollment appointment to have hold removed.
