As an undergraduate at the University of California, in Riverside, I already knew what UCR had to offer with their extensive career and academic resources as well as networking opportunities with future employers. Back then, I attended many workshops and career fairs that allowed me to enhance my professional skills, and job-hunting abilities. I knew that this was an important factor for me because networking can help propel me into my dream career. Upon deciding to obtain my MBA, I knew this was a crucial factor to consider. During an information session at AGSM, I discovered that not only did AGSM provided their graduate students with undergraduate student benefits, but they also held multiple events each month, where future employers are invited to talk to students about internships and employment opportunities. These events were much more personal than career fairs and gave AGSM students an advantage over many other competitors.

At that moment, I was sold. I researched many other institutions as well to enhance my options, but they didn't quite offer all of the benefits that AGSM had. In addition to this factor, I made my final decision to choose AGSM because of the institution's accreditation, location in an expanding pool of businesses, a variety of MBA programs, and high value that is offered. Now that I've attended AGSM for almost two quarters, I don't regret my decision because the faculty is very hands-on and caters to a variety of learning styles. We have many group projects and all of our assignments are a reflection of real world experiences; so I can trust that my education at this institution will offer the foundation necessary for me to become successful in the business field.
